Brass check valve, also known as one-way valve or check valve, is used to prevent the backflow of medium in the pipeline. The bottom valve of the water pump for suction closure also belongs to the category of check valves. A valve that opens or closes by the flow and force of the medium to prevent reverse flow of the medium is called a brass check valve. Check valves belong to the category of automatic valves and are mainly used in pipelines where the medium flows in one direction. They only allow the medium to flow in one direction to prevent accidents.
The opening and closing components of a horizontal check valve rely on the flow and force of the medium to automatically open or close, in order to prevent the backflow of the medium. The design mainly consists of three main parts: the valve body, valve cover, and rubber disc. Mainly suitable for horizontal installation of water supply and drainage systems, it can be installed at the outlet of the water pump to prevent backflow and water hammer damage to the pump. It can also be installed on the bypass pipe of the inlet and outlet pipes of the reservoir to prevent water from flowing back into the water supply system. Check valves are generally suitable for clean media and should not be used for media containing solid particles and high viscosity.
