Product introduction:
FT44 series level ball float steam trap is able to discharge saturated condensate automatically, quickly and continuously, it is guaranteed that no water will collect in the heating equipment, thus reaching the highest heat exchange efficiency.
The valve core and the valve seat are made of cobalt-chromium-tungsten alloy, which are wear-proof, anti-corrosion and durable. The single valve seat level ball float is ground and sealed with the advanced structure of mobile semicircular sphere, its sealability is excellent. It is applied circular sphere sealing method and no concentrated wear will happen at work, which endows it with long service life, this trap can adjust the openness of the valve seat hole automatically, it is with stable performance and able to work continuously, it won’t be affected by change of of steam pressure.

1. Advantages:
- Continuous drainage: not affected by pressure, temperature, or fluctuations in condensate flow rate, it discharges water as soon as there is water, with a minimum subcooling of 0 ℃, which can achieve the best working efficiency of the heating equipment.
- No steam leakage: The valve seat is always below the liquid level, forming a water seal and no steam leakage.
- Strong adaptability: The minimum working pressure is 0.01Mpa, and the maximum back pressure rate is ≤ 85%. It is suitable for blocking steam and drainage of large heating equipment and heat exchange station equipment.
- Automatic exhaust: Equipped with an internal exhaust device, advanced membrane box components are used as the automatic exhaust valve, which can automatically eliminate non condensable gases, is very sensitive, has high working quality, and has a long service life.
- Large displacement: Designed with a balanced double seat structure, it can achieve small volume and large drainage capacity, with a maximum drainage capacity of 100 tons/hour. It is the preferred steam drain valve for large heating equipment.
2. Disadvantages:
- Steam leakage risk: When the amount of condensed water decreases to a very small extent, the double seat lever float type drain valve may leak steam.
- Larger volume: Compared with the free floating ball type, the volume only increases by a portion equivalent to the volume of the lever device.
In summary, the lever floating ball drain valve has the advantages of continuous drainage, no steam leakage, strong adaptability, automatic exhaust, and large displacement. However, it also has the disadvantages of steam leakage risk and large volume. When choosing to use, it is necessary to consider comprehensively based on specific working conditions and needs.
